Cross Creek Veterinary Hospital has a large well-equipped surgical operatory with the latest in anesthesia monitoring equipment to provide the best quality of care while your pet is under general anesthesia. We perform common veterinary surgery procedures like spays, neuters, and mass removals, as well as many other advanced surgical procedures.
We have a strict anesthesia protocol from beginning to end, which includes a complete physical exam and blood work before anesthesia. During anesthesia, your pet will be provided with heat support, have an intravenous catheter placed to provide fluid therapy, and will be monitored very closely to assess heart rate and rhythm, respiration, oxygenation, blood pressure, and temperature. After anesthesia, your pet is closely monitored in our recovery care area with appropriate pain assessment and pain management protocols.
